Once in junior high, I tried to run on the inside of a water wheel. Kind of like a hamster…except it was a giant, wooden, wet and slimy wheel hovering over a small pond.
Needless to say: It did not go well. Props to those hamsters for being able to master that skill set.
My life at this moment feels a bit like that moment. I really had it for a few seconds, my feet moving at just the right speed, and then suddenly I was off-tempo, losing my footing on the slick algae growing on the inside of the water wheel. I can’t keep up.
I have so many things on my plate right now. Three lovely little munchkins. Trying to do five blog posts a week. Tweaking the new site. Hanging with that dashing husband of mine. Writing two e-books. Editing my advent e-book Make Him Room before Christmas so I can release it in print on Createspace.
Keeping that in mind, blogging may be light. REALLY LIGHT. If I want to get some outside writing done, I need to take a little breather here. I don’t know if this will mean shorter posts, fewer posts, or posts with a lot of photos, but wanted to give a heads up that I’m working on Things. If you want to keep up, sign up for my weekly email newsletter! It will keep you up with my blog posts and a little recap. Plus, when I’m done with one of my projects, you’ll be getting a free e-book, just for subscribing. No spam; once a week.
I hope you’ll stick around as I spend some time away with family and other words. I won’t be far.
