Wouldn’t it be great if we could all do what we love and get paid?
I love my blog. I would love if I got paid doing this thing I love, sharing these stories. When I’m really lucky and all the stars align, I may partner with a brand for cash, merchandise, food, event tickets, or other goodies. Because I’m a reasonable and mostly honest person, I don’t let free stuff or cash money go to my head and influence what I write. If I feel that something isn’t a good fit or I can’t be honest or it’s not a product or service I’d want or want to click on, I won’t accept. Because more than getting paid, I want to have an honest blog that represents me.
Because I sometimes partner with companies, there are cookies and things storing info about you. This sounds really creepy, but you know what? Apparently the government is reading your emails, so…this is not so bad. If you want to opt out of log files and cookies, you can learn about that here. You can also adjust cookies in your own browser settings.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, please see: http://www.networkadvertising.
I’m not selling stuff, spamming you, or doing weird, icky stuff. My advertising and affiliate partners track info so my blog can run ads that are relevant to the readers.
