If you have glanced at my blog, you will know that sometimes I blog with humor, sometimes with poignancy. I am a lover of a LOT things and I talk about most of them here. What ties these sometimes disparate pieces together is story. Stories of recipes, of my children, of faith, family, art, blogging, and writing. Story unites my blog posts. I have an MFA in Fiction and above all, I am a writer. You can read more at Create If Writing, my blog and podcast dedicated solely to writing.
If I feel your brand and product fit well with my life or the interests of my audience, I will craft them into a story—not a review, not an advertisement. If I don’t feel that I can do this in a way that is organic or natural, then I will graciously decline and seek an opportunity that better fits my audience and my brand.
To give you a bit more about my audience and my reach, in June of 2014 I had a total of under 6,000 unique visitors. In June of 2015 (as of June 24) I have had close to 80,000. (Google Analytics) This was an extraordinarily good month for me, but the overall trend on my blog is growth, BIG TIME. (Contact me for a full media kit.)

Pinterest is currently my biggest referrer, followed shortly by Facebook and search engines. I have a Klout score between 68-70, putting me in the top 5% of all users, which means that I have great interaction among my followers and my community.
I have over 1300 people who receive my weekly email that I started in October and am actively working on this list. I am a member of Social Fabric and have worked with brands such as Best Buy, Minted, Walgreens, Bigelow Tea, Tobasco, Kraft, and Nick Mom.
For examples of stories I have crafted around brands or events, you can see this post about The Legacy of Coffee with McCafé (chosen by the brand to run in Facebook ads) or this Spicy Potato Soup with Tobasco. (I LOVE creating my own recipes.)
