I got a little sad when my shipment of Nutrisystem came this week. Because it’s my LAST shipment. This is my last four weeks on the program, which is hard to believe. When I started out, three months sounded like SUCH a long time. How will I ever survive three months without wine? Pizza? Chocolate??
Well. Let’s be honest: Month 1 I survived without wine, but I got to have pizza AND chocolate through my meal plan. But Month 2…I got a little sidetracked. I still lost a few pounds, but nothing like my first month. It was a busy and tough month, you guys. But Month 3 is the home stretch and I still have ten pounds I want to lose. Let’s change that: I have ten pounds I WILL lose. To lose those pounds, I need to buckle down and stick to the plan.
It shouldn’t be that hard. I had a great first month and I’m eating good food. I already shared my favorite Nutrisystem foods to order and they really are good. Plus EASY: I can stick most of them in my purse. Where I run into trouble: nighttime when I stay up late and get hungry. I’m working on drinking coffee and tea instead of eating foods at night. I’m also trying to keep healthy snack foods on hand. Today? I ate a giant bowl of broccoli AND a giant bowl of green beans. So. Much. Green.
Though you might not be dieting, I kind of feel like you’re with me. I feel like I need to give a motivational speech. We can do this! Home stretch, baby! Keep your goals in mind and know that you can do it! YOU CAN DO IT!
