I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community, which means I get the chance to try and sometimes eat things, then get compensated to write about them for Collective Bias and advertisers like Nestle.
Without fail, I hit the gym every January (the same way I did in December and November and October and so on) only to find a giant line for the kid’s club and for my favorite elliptical machine. It’s the New Year’s resolutions in full gear…at least until the second week of February when the gym becomes a ghost town. Maybe if we all tried to focus on a more balanced lifestyle, we wouldn’t be tossing out those resolutions so quickly. For me, if I take small steps and don’t try a 21-day juice fast (no offense, juice fasters), I’m more likely to stick to something. And if I can find small changes that are also easy for my on-the-go, chasing-children kind of lifestyle, I’m golden. Enter Nestle with some really tasty options that won’t break the budget or your goals.
While I’ve been incorporating more fresh and local veggies in our home the past year, I also need some staples that are reach-ready and still have
needs cravings for chocolate. Enter Lean Cuisine, CoffeeMate, and Skinny Cow. Here are a a few ways these Nestle brands are going to help me keep up healthy changes for the long haul. And don’t worry about cost—all of these are available at your nearby Walmart.
Easy-Reach Meals in a Pinch
Lean Cuisine has long been a favorite of mine for tasty frozen meals. With Rob gone for a lot of nights and several small mouths to feed, sometimes I’m just dialing it in and want something quick for myself that won’t require washing another pan. I can find some of my favorite comfort foods like their Simple Favorites Macaroni and Cheese and Sesame Chicken. Or fresh new tastes like the Three-Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Pretzels and the Creamy Balsamic Chicken Wrap Additions. All of these make a tasty meal that’s not going to throw any resolutions out the window. And I did mention that they’re delicious? The Stuffed Pretzels are my new favorite for a snack or meal.
Since my first pregnancy, I can’t get through the morning without protein. The addition of eggs to my breakfast is a permanent change, mostly in the form of a breakfast sandwich. But there are definitely mornings that I can’t stand breaking out a pan just for me (since the boys are iffy on eggs) and hardly have time to put together my own breakfast. With the Lean Cuisine Morning Edition, I’ve got a delicious breakfast sandwich within moments. The Turkey Sausage English Muffin is perfection. Even tiny changes make a difference. Replacing my normal whole milk or sugary creamer with the CoffeeMate Better For You Sugar-Free Vanilla is a perfect switch for my coffee.
Rich, Guilt-Free Desserts
I’m never going to give up desserts. Do I stutter? I’M NEVER GOING TO GIVE UP DESSERTS. I come from a long line of ice-cream bingers and chocohalics. As I recently wrote about, the Skinny Cow Ganache Cones are a fantastic way to serve up a guilt-free dessert that doesn’t skimp on taste. Seriously, these things are a delicacy. For a more on-the-go chocolate, the Skinny Cow Divine Candies are perfect. A little peanut butter and chocolate goes a long way, especially when I know it’s only 150 calories of luxurious chocolate.
With a few easy ways to utilize these tasty, easy, and resolution-friendly Nestle products, you can keep yourself on track even on those rushed mornings, nights when you need a quick meal, or must have a taste of something sweet. Plus everything is available at Walmart at a great low price, so you won’t be breaking a budget goal either. Win, win, win.
